...of some vehicles that will be legal to import to the US next year.
- Alfa Romeo 155 (Don’t recall if we ever got these here, though I know the larger 164 was the last model offered here when they left in 1995.)
- Autozam AZ-1 (though you’ll also have to wait until October for these)
- Daihatsu Opti (More kei cars FTW)
- fini MS-8
- Ford Mondeo and Falcon GT 25th Anniversary
- HSV GTS and Senator
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution I
- Renault Safrane and Twingo
- Rover 200 Coupe
- Skoda Pick-up
- Subaru Vivio
- Toyota Caldina
- TVR Chimaera
Kei cars, luxury cars, Australian sports sedans, French compacts, sports cars, and a Czech pickup truck. Not bad, really.

We’re still one year out on the Jaguar XJ220, sadly. It’s approved here under Show & Display only at present.

I very badly want an Autozam AZ1. I could import it now and just tow it around on my ATV trailer.

Just remember, you can only import 25 year old cars because it is safer that way.

And in 2018 you can import this (look at how clean it is, and how cheap!)

I had no idea that was the case, Ferrari of Atlanta had one in their show room back in like 2007/2008. One of my high school friends lives less than 10 minutes from there, so we’d go by occasionally and look.

Do I and the rest of the EurOppos need to start hoarding the Europeans ones already?

:D
The great thing is, I live in Canada, so Xantias are already legal here :P!
I’ve never seen one in person, but I know some Citroen Autoclub Canada members in Quebec and Ontario have them, and I’ve seen some on Kijiji and Autotrader.ca on occasion!
My Citroen preference would be a nice 2CV or Dyane though, like this one! :D

How about a Twinkie instead?

I like those, I was driven home from the hospital in a Dyane after I was born. So it’s the first car I’ve ever been in. Anyway, the 2CV (and I guess the Dyane) has become expensive in Europe.

Not quite as French, but I’ll take it nonetheless!

Quite expensive, yes...$6k CAD seems quite reasonable if it’s in good shape, and it DOES appear to be in decent shape! :)

It absolute is a decent price. I’m not sure about the Dyane, but a 2CV for that price in Western Europe will be decent at best.

Yup, very surprised...and aside from the front fascia and the rear fascia, they are the exact same car, pretty much. Wish I was closer to it and had found a full time job to afford it...
